Professional Recognition

The Canadian Association of Sexuality Professionals (CASP) is currently in the process of developing formal professional recognition tracks. In alignment with our values, CASP is intentionally using the term recognition rather than certification as a way to challenge and dismantle hierarchies of professional value, while honouring diverse training pathways, lived experience, and scopes of practice.

We invite you to check this page regularly for updates or to sign up to receive notifications as new information becomes available.

CASP's Winnipeg office is located on Treaty 1 Territory, the traditional lands of the Anishinaabeg, Ininiwak, Anishininwak, Dakota Oyate, and Denésuline, and the National Homeland of the Red River Métis.

CASP's Montréal office is located on the traditional and unceded territory of the Kanien’kehá:ka Nation. Historically known as Tiohtià:ke, Montreal has long served as a site of meeting and exchange among many First Nations, including the Anishinaabeg and others.

We honour and respect these nations as the traditional stewards of the lands and waters we gather on today.
